For
all hospitalization (outpatient or conventional surgery), we remind
you that two consultations are necessary before being admitted:
The surgical consultation, following which your surgeon will decide
, with your agreement on an operation or a hospitalization. He or
she will give you a document containing all the information relating
to your hospitalization. You will be asked for this document at
the time of registering.
The pre-anaesthetic consultation, which is obligatory and aimed
at preparing your operation in total safety. It takes place with
an anaesthetist at least two days before the scheduled date of your
operation. You will be asked for your entire medical file, that
is to say your laboratory tests , x-rays, current treatment, medical
history... Examinations may also be prescribed.
